We are expanding our team and looking for a dedicated HUD Certified Housing Counselor to join us in our Tampa office, either part-time or full-time. If you have a passion for serving the community and guiding individuals toward financial wellness and homeownership, we want to hear from you!

Job Description: HUD Certified Housing Counselor

Position: Part-Time or Full-Time

Location: Tampa Office (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

Conduct one-on-one housing counseling sessions, including pre-purchase, credit, financial management, and foreclosure prevention.
Actively participate in outreach events to promote our services and connect with community members who need assistance.
Develop personalized action plans to help clients achieve their housing and financial goals.
Assist clients with completing forms, accessing financial assistance programs, and navigating the home-buying process.
Provide education on various topics such as budgeting, debt management, credit improvement, and mortgage lending.
Conduct group workshops and seminars to promote housing education and financial literacy.
Maintain accurate records of all counseling sessions and client interactions, following HUD regulations and program requirements.
Stay updated with industry trends, changes in housing policies, and HUD guidelines to provide clients with the most accurate information.
Qualifications:

Must be HUD Certified
Strong knowledge of housing counseling practices, financial literacy, and local housing assistance programs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience in community outreach and a passion for serving diverse communities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual is a plus.
Experience with intake procedures, client management systems, and case documentation.
