Martin Cornejo Torres

As a recent graduate student at Portland State University, I pursued my bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and Real Estate Property Management. Being a Latinx, migrant, and bilingual individual in Real Estate will help me expand my knowledge to serve my community. Ensuring and guiding first-time homebuyers is one of the essential duties in this field. Understanding the financial reports and written regulations is what both parties should abide by to create a strong relationship. As a Real Estate Property Management student, one of my priorities will be communicating in English and Spanish with Proud Ground’s partners, applicants, and co-workers. Translating and advocating for my peers and community will always be present in my day-to-day activities. After becoming a first-time homebuyer, I decided to pursue a certification in Real Estate Property Management. My instructors’ real-life experiences have taught me much about commercial, residential, and office. The different leases, tenant care, and budgeting types have helped me develop new skills. I hope to apply my knowledge and skills to this field of work.
