Housing Counseling: provide information, advice, and tools for consumers seeking, financing, maintaining, renting, owning a home, assisting those facing homelessness and homeowners in need of foreclosure assistance. Responsible for seeing that electronic and hard copy client files are up to date for all counselors and clients personally assigned to the Housing Counseling Director. Files should be updated at each step of counseling. Responsible for timely submission of HUD-9902 report, HUD Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Final Housing Counseling Reports. Responsible for coordinating and/or presenting housing-related group education such as First Time Homebuyer, Post-Purchase Homebuyer and Financial Literacy including obtaining closing information needed for reporting. Responsible for supporting other reporting requirements as assigned. Responsible for Housing Counseling Program outreach/marketing and assisting with marketing of other UHDC services as directed. Responsible for coordination of counseling efforts accomplished through other UHDC programs (IDA, Housing Choice Voucher, etc.) to maximize efficiency.

USDA RD 502: Provides individual service to an applicant seeking a housing loan by helping to navigate the loan application process, markets the program, prescreens potential applicants, counsels clients, and assists the applicant in assembling a complete application.

Home Rehabilitation: Assistance programs provide funds to income-eligible owner-occupants to assist with the repair, rehabilitation, or reconstruction of their homes, combining the efforts of the client, UHDC staff, volunteers, and licensed contractors to meet home repair goals through the use of low-interest loans and grants.

Social Media: Curating, planning, implementing, managing and monitoring agency’s social media strategy in order to increase awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase productivity, manage an organization’s online presence by developing a strategy, producing valuable content, analyzing metric data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.
